The aim of this project was to make a simple online platform that work anywhere and client can have their own storefront auction house with live auction platform online.
The Problems
Four core legacy UX and structural friction points identified across the existing auction platform:
Small screen size is an old format of website design.
Legacy fixed-width viewport restricts high-resolution fine art and antique catalog photography.
Scattered design of L1 and L2 makes reading hard
Fragmented hierarchy across primary and secondary navigation slows down collector discovery.
Long scroll of directory for clients, blog, auction listings, and calendar page
Dense, unpaginated vertical lists across key pages create browsing fatigue for buyers.
Search system lacks search filter
Collectors cannot easily narrow down lots by auction house, category, or live/timed status.
